$AMC Those folks buying tickets, snacks, and merch are excited about this movie and telling their friends to check it out. They say it's super enjoyable with lots of fun references. As for the others, only a few fancy traders would care. They've been sidelined for years. We're after wide appeal, massive hits. Not just films for award season fans.

$XLE -3.8% today. Day 1 of a potential trend shift if it closes here. It might dip to the 50-day moving average and still be in a long-term upswing. It's at 58.86 and about -0.5% below the expected trading range for today, showing light selling pressure. That doesn't mean the dip is over though.
