bad trade embarrassed savings loss micron market drop

Made a bad trade - help
I'm a young woman in my early 20s, and I've never traded before. I accidentally put a lot of money into a stock. I didn't know the market was closed, so my money was stuck overnight. The company, Micron, had a big drop recently, and I lost a lot. I was scared to tell my parents, so I followed advice from Grok / ChatGPT and took most of my money out, which locked in my loss but saved me from losing everything. I'm not sure if that was the right move, but I panicked and have no idea if it was smart. I feel really embarrassed and down, and I hope you can forgive me. It was a dumb, careless moment and it cost me a lot of savings. Any thoughts?
