celh energy drinks convenience stores sales trend

Most energy drinks, like $CELH, are found at convenience stores. A trade group's sales analysis shows that the number of transactions at 130 convenience store companies dropped by nearly 10% in March and April compared to the same months last year. Sales inside the stores decreased by 10.4%. $CELH is still showing strong year-over-year growth despite this short-term bump from rising gas prices. Once gas prices drop, it'll become a boost. Also worth noting is that energy drinks are part of a larger trend of declining alcohol sales among Gen Z, leading to more shelf space being given to energy drinks.
