HPE--
hpe forward pe price targets market analysis
$HPE's median historical 5-year forward P/E is 13.6. After hours close price is around 12.7. Anyone thinking it'll drop below $40 where it was before should explain why their forward P/E would fall into the 10s. Either you shorted the stock and don't want to be burned, believe a larger market correction or crash is coming (fair and possible), or just don't know what you're doing. All else equal, a rerating of the stock makes sense, which would be a 16 or 18 forward P/E (conservative). Forward P/E of 16 = $60 stock price, Forward P/E of 18 = $67, Forward P/E of 20 = $75. Easy to see Wall Street's price targets between $65 and $80
