qqq spy space x ipo lock up period elons loan collateral

$QQQ $SPY Learn about the SpaceX IPO and how it's different from typical IPOs. One thing I disagree with is that Elon Musk is "locked up" for a year. He's not. Elon doesn't sell his shares; he takes a loan using them as collateral. A lock-up period doesn't stop someone from using shares as a loan. I think Elon will use his shares as collateral during the hype to cash out some of his position. This way, he can write off losses instead of paying capital gains tax and keep the full loan amount. That's also why the minimum float rule was left out. With only 3% in the IPO, Elon has room to cash out to banks without affecting the share price. Any further losses are on the banks. Good luck https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e33UP-pSdzA
