sofi deposits jump 40 billion q1 2026
$SOFI few people are talking about the key number in the Q1 2026 10-Q. Deposits jumped from $37.5 BILLION to $40.2 BILLION in just one quarter. That's a $2.7 BILLION boost in just 3 months. It's like saying SoFi is still the same company that was trading under $5 back when everyone was stressing about funding, profits, and student loans. Reality check: Profitable company with over $40 BILLION in deposits, over $1 BILLION in quarterly revenue, growing member base, and a growing loan portfolio. Deposits are what power the lending machine. Every quarter that the deposit base grows, SoFi becomes less reliant on expensive outside funding and can earn more net interest income. So it's no surprise that SoFi quietly added $2.7 BILLION in deposits in just one quarter. This bank is getting bigger.
