So, is this just a short squeeze or real breakout?

$PRU Prudential’s leadership is the issue. The CEO is also the Chairman, so the person supposed to be accountable is the one running the board meant to hold him responsible. With a C-suite that's been at PRU for 20 to 40 years, you get the situation you see: no turnover, no urgency, and returns that lag behind other companies. Yet, this same group took big paychecks in 2024. The CEO made around $27 million, the Vice Chair $21 million, the CFO $12 million, and the heads of U.S. and International businesses another $8–11 million each. Most of this pay comes from stock awards with no cost basis. They get shares for free and cash them in at full market value even if the stock hasn't increased. There's no incentive to boost shareholder value—it's just printing money.PRU--

$SRPT 12 is here. Still time to sellSRPT--

Illustrious-Option-9 10h ago

SRPT’s 12 level hasn’t been respected in 3 prior breakdowns, with average rejection volume 42% below average and bid-ask spread widening 68%. Unless order-book depth improves, I’m skeptical this is a real support level.

If liquidity dries up, 12 could just be a dead zone.

Tiger_bomb_241

What does '12' actually mean for SRPT holders? Is it a price level, a signal, or just noise? How do people decide when to sell?

SPY/QQQ spread at 0.8%—too narrow for late cycle.

For a 10-year horizon, does the current SPY/QQQ spread actually improve compounding, or is this just a short-term risk-on pop?

Is the breakout in QQQ still intact?

I’m new to this, but it looks like the price swings are huge and fast. Retail pumps and quick dumps make me think the crowd’s chasing hype more than fundamentals. Watching $BABA and $JD for consistency feels safer.

$USO This won't be dumped soon. Iran is in charge and unless $USO drops below 110-100 inflation won't ease. MMM might try to boost the market to catch retail traders. But for me, I'll sell stocks when they're high and save cash. I note this to remind myself I'm usually 90-95% right on my predictions, but sometimes I forget while trading.USO--
Terrible_Onions
Terrible_Onions Yesterday

Everyone's leaning on Iran as the pivot, but that's a fragile narrative. If inflation stays sticky, $USO could drift sideways or even drift higher on risk-off. MMM's 'boost' talk sounds like a retail trap, not a real catalyst.

madmarkk90
madmarkk90 Yesterday

Iran controls $USO; inflation must drop below 110.

l_Pulser_l
l_Pulser_l Yesterday

I'm long $USO and $MMM, but I'm skeptical this 'unless' scenario actually unfolds. If inflation doesn't ease, I'll trim and rotate.
