Is 'easy short' just hype or real risk here?
Momentum’s screaming short for $BMNR and the ETH/BTC pair. If this 52-week low setup holds, the trend likely continues down. I’m leaning to add shorts here, but only with tight stops—volatility feels nasty.
Not in yet, just watching the tape. Seeing a lot of easy-short chatter around $BMNR and ETHUSDT, but the BTCUSDT base still looks choppy. Feels like a classic mean-reversion trap if liquidity dries up.
Seen this movie since 2017: when sentiment flips, liquidity dries up fast. Pumpers fade quicker than narratives. If BTC’s base volume isn’t returning, these “positive” days usually end up choppy or lower.
Long-term, I care about adoption, network security, and real utility. Meme chatter doesn’t change the hash rate or developer activity. I’ll keep buying dips if fundamentals hold, not chasing hype-driven swings.
Feels risky; I’d rather learn first.
